Welcome to the Spring Art Tour

June 1-3, 2018, 10am-5pm daily

Discover the magic! Explore the treasures that await you under magnificent wide open springtime skies. View the vistas, prairies, and gardens that inspire this area's artists. They will welcome you into their home, gallery, and farm studios. Be inspired as you watch them create woodwork, wheel thrown pottery, beautiful jewelry, supreme basketry, glass work, fine art paintings and much more. Wander through South Central Wisconsin as you tour the rarely seen Open Art Studios of Mount Horeb and surrounding areas. Connect the dots on our map and artist locations to create your own unique Spring Art Tour. Relish the ride!

Brochures for the tour will begin to be distributed early in the year of the tour. It includes a map of the artists' locations and examples of their artwork. In addition, links to other maps may become available on this website in the Spring prior to the event. If you would like to receive a brochure and be included on our annual mailing, please let us know.

The 2018 Poster & Raffle Artists have been announced. Our 2018 Poster artist is Tamlyn Akins of Black Earth. Previous years' posters are also still available: 2018 (Akins) | 2017 (Watson-Newlin) | 2016 (Zalucha) | 2015 (Akins) | 2014 (France) | 2013 (Medaris). In April of 2018 we will raffle off 3 prizes. The 2018 raffle artist is steel sculptor, John Pahlas, of Center Ground Studios in Mount Horeb. He has provided us with a wonderful First Prize; an original John Pahlas sculpture titled "Prairie Conquest", valued at $300 (12" H x 8" W x 6" D). In addition we will raffle off a Second Prize of $100 and a Third Prize of $50 (need not be present at the Raffle Drawing to win). During the Raffle Drawing evening (April 19, 2018) there will also be many wonderful door prizes donated by the artists (must be present to win Door Prizes).
