I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and have known since before I could sign my name that I wanted to be an artist. Having studied in both the arts and crafts, I am an artist with many interests. Among my specialties are close-up Florals, Animal Portraits, Naturescapes, and Mandalas (meditative symmetrical designs). In addition to fine art media, I enjoy creating jewelry and origami art forms.

In 1980 I received my BFA with High Distinction in Drawing from the California College of Arts & Crafts (now California College of Art), and in 1983 I moved to Madison, Wisconsin, with the intention of making art my life’s work.

Since then my work has been exhibited internationally, honored with awards, and purchased for numerous private and corporate collections. In 2001 I moved my home and studio into the rural hills of Black Earth (Vermont Township), fulfilling a lifelong dream to live and work in the country. I currently maintain membership in the Mount Horeb Area Arts Association, Wisconsin Visual Artists, and Wisconsin Alliance of Artists & Craftspeople.

DOOR PRIZES: Visitors who make a purchase at my studio may enter a drawing for assorted prizes.
