5. JESSICA CURNING-KUENZI
Since childhood I knew I wanted to be a nature photographer. I would spend hours looking at old National Geographic Magazines wishing I could go to exotic places to photograph nature. When I was 7 years old I got my first camera and never stopped traveling and hiking around Wisconsin looking for a beautiful photograph. I received an Associates Degree in Photography from Madison College.
My subjects include landscapes, animals of all kinds, waterfalls, old buildings being taken over by nature, flowers and anything I find beautiful. I love that I can preserve nature forever with my photographs.

I look for scenes that convey the sense of peace and tranquility I had while I was there photographing. It gives me much joy and peace hiking through the woods looking for my next photograph. I want people how see my photographs and feel the same need to conserve it that I do. All of my photographs were taken in Wisconsin with the majority taken where I live, in Blue Mounds, and the southern half of Wisconsin. I spend most of my weekends out photographing or participating in art fairs all around Wisconsin.
DEMONSTRATION: I will show visitors how to mat and frame prints. And because I'll be set up outside in my yard I will demo how to take pleasing flower and tree photographs.
STUDIO ACCESS: I live on a rural road with no sidewalks but there is lots of room to park on the side of the road or in the gravel driveway. I'll be setup in a tent beside the driveway or in my garage if it's raining.
